    casino $1 (one dollar) gaming/slot route token
    (1998 RWM Roger Williams Mint, 252 Convention Center Drive location, obsolete token, Southwest slots logo on reverse)
    from Las Vegas, Nevada.
    This token measures 37.3 mm or 1.469″ diameter (standard $1 slot size from 1965-2000s, 0.7 oz.) size and made from a nickel-silver alloy mixture.
    This is considered a “route” token (gaming establishments that have restricted gaming licenses i.e. no table games like full blown casinos, only slots, like bars, lounges, stores, gas stations, etc.).
    Generally, these are rare (unique to the 1980s and early 1990s) and are fantastic collector’s items! Very few, if any casinos use metal casino tokens in slot machines anymore due to electronic ticketing introduced during the early 2000s. The majority of casino tokens were destroyed by their respective properties and the limited amount of existing (especially well-preserved) ones kept by customers will continue to climb in value as the years go on. Because they are rare, casino slot tokens make for excellent gifts/souvenirs and collector’s pieces! Get them before they are gone forever!
    As you can see in the pictures below, this token is in excellent, uncirculated condition, very rare to find this particular token in this great of shape
    (and has a more polished appearance in person, due to the angle of lighting)
