    *  I increased handling time to two days on this listing to try to overcome Ebay’s unreliable late tracking algorithm.  If I receive an order after 6:00 AM (Eastern Time) on a Tuesday morning, it will be in the possession of the USPS Wednesday morning.  The USPS will not process the package until Wednesday evening and the scan (if they do scan it) might first appear early Thursday morning.  I have never been late mailing a shipment, yet the algorithm penalized me.  I apologize for any inconvenience.

To determine if these are the correct switches for your application, search the internet for your microwave model number (open the door and look for the label) and the word: “parts”. On the parts list, these switches are described as listed above. If the appliance parts web site identifies the part as one of the above part numbers, this is the switch you need.
There are two of these switches in most applications. If one of these switch fails open, the microwave controller will appear to work, but the light, fan, turntable, and magnetron will fail to operate.
To test the switch, verify that the circuit between the two contacts is open. The circuit should then close with a clicking sound when the plunger is depressed to about half of full travel.
The switches in the photos match the switches you will receive. These high-quality Omron switches (
    made in Indonesia
) may differ in color or marking compared to the original switches in your microwave oven. However, the size, operating force, and 250VAC/16A electrical rating matches the OEM part.
Shipping and handling is $3.00 plus $0.25 for each additional set of two (2) switches.
These switches are rated for a minimum of 10 million cycles
with the contacts rated for a minimum of 100,000 powered cycles.
    Unfortunately, most microwave oven door
switches don’t fail from mechanical or contact wear.
Whenever the door is opened while the microwave oven is cooking, the safety interlock switch contacts open to immediately shut down the magnetron and a momentary electrical arc forms across the contacts, heating them.  Repeated arcing over a short period of time will heat the contacts enough to deform the plastic housing internal to the switch, resulting in switch failure.
To prevent this heat-related failure, always stop or pause cooking before opening the door.
This way, the controller turns off the magnetron power and there is no power going through the switch when you open the door.
